These Terms and Conditions represent the complete legal agreement between you and Learn Lab regarding your use of our educational technology services, website, and related offerings. By accessing or using any part of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms and Conditions, you must discontinue use of our services immediately. These Terms should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.

3. Age Restrictions and Requirements
Our services are intended for users who are at least 16 years of age. If you are between 16 and 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), you may only use our services under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you are under 16 years of age, you may not use our services under any circumstances. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet the age requirements specified above.
Parents and legal guardians are responsible for monitoring their children's use of our services and for any consequences resulting from such use.
4. Liability Limitations and Warranties
4.1 Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES AND ALL CONTENT, MATERIALS, INFORMATION, SOFTWARE, AND OTHER SERVICES INCLUDED IN OR MADE AVAILABLE THROUGH OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.
Learn Lab expressly disclaims all warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:
- • Implied warranties of merchantability
- • Fitness for a particular purpose
- • Non-infringement of intellectual property rights
- • Title or quiet enjoyment
- • Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of content
- • Absence of errors, bugs, or interruptions
4.2 No Guaranteed Results
While we strive to provide high-quality educational technology services, we make no guarantees regarding:
- • Specific learning outcomes or educational achievements
- • Return on investment from using our services
- • Increased engagement or performance metrics
- • Compatibility with all systems and platforms
4.3 Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL LEARN LAB, ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY:
- • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- • Loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses
- • Damages resulting from your access to, use of, or inability to access or use the services
- • Damages resulting from any unauthorized access to or use of our servers or any personal information stored therein
4.4 Maximum Liability
In any case, Learn Lab's total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising from or related to these Terms and Conditions or your use of the services shall not exceed the greater of:
- • The total amount you paid to Learn Lab in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to liability, or
- • ¥100,000 (one hundred thousand Japanese Yen)
5. Force Majeure
Learn Lab shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms and Conditions if such failure or delay is due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- • Acts of God, natural disasters, earthquakes, floods, or severe weather
- • War, terrorism, civil unrest, or government actions
- • Labor disputes or strikes
- • Internet or telecommunications failures
- • Pandemics or public health emergencies
- • Fire, explosion, or other catastrophic events
In such circumstances, Learn Lab will use reasonable efforts to resume performance as soon as practicable.
6. Legal Information and Dispute Resolution
6.1 Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods shall not apply.
6.2 Jurisdiction and Venue
You agree that any legal action or proceeding arising from or related to these Terms and Conditions or your use of the services shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Tokyo, Japan. You hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of such courts and waive any objection based on inconvenient forum.
6.3 Dispute Resolution Process
Before initiating any formal legal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt resolution through the following process:
- Step 1 - Notice: The complaining party must provide written notice of the dispute to the other party, describing the nature of the dispute in reasonable detail.
- Step 2 - Good Faith Negotiations: The parties will engage in good faith negotiations to resolve the dispute within 30 days of the notice.
- Step 3 - Mediation: If negotiations fail, the parties may agree to submit the dispute to non-binding mediation.
- Step 4 - Litigation: If all other attempts fail, either party may pursue resolution through the courts specified above.
6.4 Class Action Waiver
To the extent permitted by law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
6.5 Limitation Period
You agree that any claim or cause of action arising from or related to these Terms and Conditions or your use of the services must be filed within one (1) year after the claim or cause of action arose. Otherwise, such claim or cause of action is permanently barred.
7. Severability and Waiver
7.1 Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable while preserving its original intent.
7.2 Waiver
No waiver by Learn Lab of any term or condition set forth in these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or condition or a waiver of any other term or condition. Any failure by Learn Lab to assert a right or provision under these Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
8. Assignment
You may not assign, transfer, or delegate these Terms and Conditions or any of your rights or obligations hereunder, in whole or in part, whether voluntarily or by operation of law, without the prior written consent of Learn Lab. Any attempted assignment, transfer, or delegation without such consent shall be null and void.
Learn Lab may assign these Terms and Conditions or any of its rights or obligations hereunder, in whole or in part, to any party at any time without notice or your consent, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, or sale of assets.
9. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions, together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and any other legal notices or agreements published by Learn Lab on the services, constitute the entire agreement between you and Learn Lab concerning your use of the services.
These Terms and Conditions supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications, agreements, and proposals, whether electronic, oral, or written, between you and Learn Lab with respect to the services.
10. Modifications to Terms
Learn Lab reserves the right to modify, amend, or update these Terms and Conditions at any time at its sole discretion. We will provide notice of material changes by:

- • Updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document
- • Sending email notification if we have your contact information (for significant changes)
Your continued use of the services after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to the modified Terms and Conditions, you must discontinue use of the services immediately.
